In-App Notifications Made Easy

In-app notifications is a powerful and effective means of getting notified. As an end user you can opt for receiving notifications in email, in-app or both. You can set this preference in each project you are interested in.

Step-by-step guide

  1. Open the Watches tab of the projects

  2. Set your preference of notifcation in "Specify what way you prefer to get notified" to In-App or Email and In-App.

  3. Set the event types you are interested in

  4. Now, if an issue of this project changes you will receive notifications within JIRA.

In-app notificaitons are accessible in two ways:

  • by clicking the eye icon next to your profile menu

  • by clicking Notifications in your profile menu
