Incoming mail connection not fetching Emails

Problem

Incoming mail connection test is successful, the connection is enabled and linked to an active Email This Issue mail handler, yet emails are not fetched.

Solution

To enable email fetching, ensure that the Datlassian.mail.fetchdisabled=TRUE Jira startup parameter is removed. Even if the incoming mail connection is successfully tested, enabled, and associated with an active Email This Issue mail handler, email fetching will not initiate if this parameter is not correctly set. It may also be necessary to restart the instance for this change to take affect.
