How to hide custom fields in the email screen

Email screen is divided into two columns. The column on the right hand side contains issue details with all the custom fields in the issue that contains values.

In certain cases there may be fields which should not be shown or does not add value to the users (e.g. Rank).


Step-by-step guide

To control the fields appearing in the issue panel in the Email Screen you can do the following:

  1. Check the Field Context of your custom fields to apply to the projects where you need them
  2. Open the Configuration page of Email This Issue and hide the custom fields by selecting them in the "Hidden Fields" dropdown.
