Follow up Confluence Meeting Notes

During a meeting, add Odoo direct links like contacts, products, invoices to attendees, discussion items and action steps in your Confluence Meeting Notes.

When you follow up your tasks after the meeting, you can start them faster, as all info will be directly accessible for you.

How to do it

  1. When editing your Meeting Notes, simply add the Odoo Connect macro wherever you want the direct link to appear in your Page

  2. Select the Odoo Server, the Module and the record you want to see in Confluence

  3. Continue editing your Meeting Notes.

 

Tips & tricks

(info) you can use the "{" keyboard shortcut for quickly adding macros in Confluence.

(info) Just like any other macro, Odoo Connect macro can be reused. If you need the same Module or Record in other parts of the Page, simply copy-paste the prepopulated macro in Edit mode and change it if needed.

What does it look like?

After saving your Meeting Notes, the Odoo direct links will appear where you added them. You can access these Odoo Records from Confluence now.


Add details and references to your weekly and monthly Reports

Talking about specific Products or Sales Regions in your Report? Add them as Odoo links, so the readers can learn more easily at the right context.

How to do it

  1. Check out the charts in Odoo that you want to use for your analysis:

  2. Create your Monthly Report Page in Confluence

  3. Copy-paste your Odoo charts and add your Analysis as usual

  4. Add your Odoo Direct links where needed using the Odoo Connect macro:


What does it look like?

After saving your Confluence Page, the Odoo direct links will appear where you added them. You can access these Odoo Records from Confluence now.


Make your Product Inventory Index Page a gateway between Confluence Product Pages and Odoo Product details
  • Add a Page Property Macro to each of your Product Documentation Pages - you can even hide them if you want
    • add related Odoo data such as Product, Product Category, Manufacturer, Technical Contact in the Page Propery Macro
  • Create a Porduct Inventory Index Page and use the Page Properties Report Macro
    • all the Odoo Links will show up for each product so you'll  have an Index Page where you can access both the Product Documentation and the related Odoo details
