You can configure Content Exporter on the Content Exporter Configuration page. You can access it on the Confluence Administration page Content Exporter section Content Exporter Configuration.Output format: Here you can configure which export formats you want to enable on system level. Enabling/disabling output formats here results in show/hide export format menu itemsset here the basic setups about Content Exporter.

  1. Open Configuration as an administrator
  2. In the menu, open Content Exporter / General settings

It defines what kind of export permission is active in Content Exporter:

  • None - If the user has view permission, he/she can export the page.
  • Use confluence permissions - Content exporter checks if the user has export permission on the exportable space.


Setup export permission in Confluence

If you select the "Use confluence permissions" permission management, the system checks if the user has export permission in the current space, or not.
