The Issue Navigator in Jira is a flexible search and reporting tool in Jira. It is where you develop your issue filters. Email This Issue allows you to send the issues from a filter in emails.

Step 3: Compose the Email

Compose your email the usual way by setting recipients, content and options.

The email composition screen allows you to select a template to generate the emails. When the content of a filter is sent in an issue list, templates must be created from the Issue List theme.

As a last resort, you can cancel the operation in the Confirmation page or click the Send button to dispatch the emails.

Email Templates

Email templates created from the Theme "Issue List" are available in the Template dropdown.

Using this Theme customized email templates (e.g. add custom fields, change layout) may be created to send list of issues in email.
