Jira Issue with Mailimport - author and changehistory author differs FROZEN

Description

Hi Tibor,

please find attached my screenshot.
As you can see the author differs.

Today I tried another szenario where I found some really interesting IMHO.
I sent 3 issues from an non privileged user to that mailaddress (for mailimport with JETI). So the default reporter was set to mail.
That is ok so far. The author was - as expected - user "Mail".
BUT in ChangeHistory of all 3 Issues I found again another user, let's call him "MISTER X".
So I decided to look at the Mailinglist of our JETI. There I saw that "MISTER X" was the last privileged user for Mailimport!
"MISTER X" reported an issue a few minutes before my 3 tests arrived.
Maybe that "last privileged user" is cached anywhere? Could that be?
As always, I'm happy to provide you with any further information.
I'm looking forward to hearing from you soon.
Best regards,
Mario

Your screenshot makes me think this.

Hi Tibor,

unfortunately not. The user in change history has absolutely nothing to do with the created issue. The user hasn't created the issue, the user wasn't in To/Bc/Bcc and even not mentioned in the mailbody or subject.

But, as I could see - as described above - the user in change history was the last, which has created an issue (had permission to do so) before that one was created. (checked secure/admin/jeti/auditLogs.jspa)

Do you know what I mean?

Best regards,
Mario
